Lobster soup - nice yummy soup Star Garoupa Fish - fresh, sauce not saltish, good Pork rib - tender, sauce not sweet Baby Kai lan with black garlic - nice Claypot rice with waxed duck, waxed pork, waxed pork sausage and waxed goose liver with a slightly saltish sauce - Duck was alright but waxed pork and sausages too stiff. They should have sliced them thinner. Of all the dishes, this is the worst. Rice also not fragrant. Not worth the calories.

The heart of Song Garden lies in its dedication to quality and freshness. Diners can indulge in dishes that are thoughtfully crafted to embody the flavors of traditional Cantonese seasonings. One standout dish that has garnered attention is the lobster soup. Reviewers, like San-Ju T., praise it as "nice yummy soup," showcasing the rich and comforting flavor profile that makes it a must-try for seafood enthusiasts.

  • Star Garoupa Fish - Fresh and impeccably cooked, this dish shines with a sauce that doesn't overwhelm the senses.
  • Pork Ribs - Tender and succulent, these ribs strike the perfect balance with a savory sauce that avoids the pitfall of excess sweetness.
  • Baby Kai Lan with Black Garlic - With its delightful crunch and savory depth, this side adds a refreshing touch to any meal.
  • Claypot Rice - While packed with an assortment of waxed meats, it unfortunately fell short on the execution. The waxed pork and sausages could benefit from thinner slicing for enhanced texture, and the rice lacked the fragrant aroma that’s often expected in claypot dishes.

Despite a few missteps, the overall experience at Song Garden is punctuated by the warm hospitality and a menu that invites exploration. The dim sum offerings are not just meals; they are invitations to savor a dynamic cultural tapestry where tradition meets culinary craftsmanship. As you navigate through their dishes, you will discover a celebration of taste that lingers on the palate and stays in the memory.

Should you find yourself in Singapore, do not miss the chance to dig into what Song Garden has to offer; it’s a delightful fusion of flavors waiting to unfold with every bite.
